Called to Love Again is Finding Adam Finding Eve’s ministry arm specifically for divorced Catholics who are discerning whether God is calling them to love again in marriage. This is a healing-first formation program — not a rush back into dating, but a guided journey through the healing, self-knowledge, and spiritual formation that must come before a divorced Catholic re-enters the dating world. Called to Love Again serves Catholics who have received or are pursuing an annulment and who want to approach their next chapter with the full support of Church teaching and community.
The Deeper Story
I’ll be honest with you: this arm of the ministry exists because the Church has not always done a great job walking with divorced Catholics. Too many people feel abandoned — like the Church has nothing to say to them except “no.” But that’s not the truth. The truth is that the Church’s heart breaks for broken marriages, and Jesus meets you right where you are.
Called to Love Again starts with healing because you can’t build something new on a broken foundation. Remote preparation — the lifelong process of becoming ready for marriage — includes healing wounds, growing in virtue, developing self-knowledge, learning relationship skills, building community, and deepening your faith. For divorced Catholics, that healing work is not optional. It’s the doorway to everything else.
We connect participants with proven healing resources: Catholics Returning Home, divorce care groups, Catholic therapists, the Catholic Psych Institute, the John Paul II Healing Center, and Unbound Ministry. This is a safe place to lean in, to share, and to make friendships. But the most important reason for being here is to find Jesus’ love for us — especially when you’ve been through the devastation of a broken marriage.
What This Means for Your Dating Life
If you’re divorced, you might feel pressure to “get back out there” or you might feel like dating is forever closed to you. Neither is true. Called to Love Again gives you a third path: intentional, prayerful discernment about whether God is calling you to marriage again — and if He is, real preparation for doing it well this time. You won’t be rushed. You won’t be judged. You’ll be formed.
The formation is the same rigorous, TOB-grounded work we do with all FAFE participants, adapted for the specific wounds and questions that come with divorce.
